The Book of Mormons

I think the biggest question we should have when looking at what we believe, is does it line up with the scriptures. But most man are controlled by their opinion or what they’ve been taught. The problem with this is our opinion is formed by what we’ve been taught, and a lot of that isn’t base on facts. Let’s look at the bible and compare the scriptures to what he said and where he claimed to have gotten the book of Mormons from. Joseph Smith claimed that and angel came to him and gave him the plates, from which came the book of Mormons. I don’t doubt this, Muhammad said said the same thing, and that where he got the Quran. Is there anything wrong with these beliefs the bible can speak for itself

John 17:14-17

14 I (Jesus) have given them (The Apostles) thy (God) word; and the world hath hated them (The Apostles), because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil (religious impurity).
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify (separate ) them through thy truth (a clear understanding of the word of God): thy word is truth.

When you have a clear understanding of the word of God, it will separate you from other religions and religious impurity.

John 17:18-20
18 As thou (God) hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them (The Apostles) into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify (separate) myself, that they also might be sanctified (clean of religion defilement) through the truth (through a clear understanding of the word of God).
20 Neither pray I for these (The Apostles ) alone, but for them (for us) also which shall believe on me (Jesus) through their (The Apostles) word;

Jesus himself would have been a Pharisees, but they had abondend the Scriptures or the word of God for the tradition of men. This what apostacy is today, even though they assemble together in a building, they are control by the teaching and tradition of men, and not the word of God.

Galatians 1:6-10
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him (God) that called you into the grace (power and authority) of Christ (Rev 12:10-11) unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert (corrupt) the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel (Joseph Smith said it came from and angle) from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we (Apostles) have preached unto you, let him be accursed (separate yourself from them).
9 As we (The Apostles) said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

2 Corinthians 11:2-5
2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin (without religious defilement) to Christ.
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent (Devil that’s behind all lies) beguiled (decieve) Eve through his subtilty (lay back cunningness), so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
4 For if he (a man or woman) that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we (The Apostle) have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
5 For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.

Isn’t the Book of Mormons called another gospel of Jesus Christ. So if and angel bring a different gospel, it was to be rejected. If it’s not in the bible or the bible speak against it, it’s not a true belief. The bible is complete and he’s not name amongst the Apostles which Jesus sent to us, so who is he?
