In the Unity of the faith

I think this is a good Idea for us to come together, to get and Scriptural understanding. The problem with today is that thousands claim to believe in Jesus, but know little or nothing about him or the Bible. There is but one Spirit but thousands of different forms of Christianity, Why?

The Bible teaches that there is One faith, One body, One Lord and One Spirit, here is the Scripture below.

Eph 4:3 Endeavoring (striving or fighting) to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Eph 4:4 There is one body (one Church body of Christ), and one Spirit (Anointing or Holy Ghost), even as ye are called in one hope of your calling (just one to be saved, one belief system);

Eph 4:5 One Lord (One Jesus), one faith (One belief in the word of God), one baptism (In Jesus name and the Holy Ghost),

Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

So how do we come up with the word "many" in our Christianity vocabulary?

God is not going to tell me one thing and you another, that would make him a liar or a deceiver.  So if you believe in many ways you need to readjust your thinking, because that's not a Bible teaching. Some people carry a Bible to Church every Sunday and don't even know what's in it.  How could any of you call yourself a Christian and you don't know what's in the Bible?  I think the funniest thing for me was, I realize I was saying I was a Christian, but I had to asked myself how much of the word of God was I living up to.  For example Here is one Scripture rule:

1Cor 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

1Cor 14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

How many of you so called Christian women would obey this Scripture, and allow their husband to teach them.  But you're a Christian anyway, even though you don't obey this rule.  I realize there are many such rules in the Bible, that we don't submit to but call ourselves Christian anyway.  But how can you be a Christian and you not submitted to the word of God?

I know that some of you would say that was then and this is now, so where is your Bible for the 2000's or who gave you the power to change the word of God, to meet your liking. Here are some Scriptures that show that we cannot change the word of God to what we like.

2Thess 3:6 Now we (Disciple/Apostles) command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us (Disciple/Apostles).

2Thess 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle (Acts, Roman and etc).

Isa 8:16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law (Scripture) among my disciples (Disciple/Apostles).

Isa 8:20 To the law (Scripture or Old testament) and to the testimony (Gospel or New Testament): if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light (no truth) in them. So how can you come up with something new or change the tradition of the elders in the Bible and still be a Christian?

How many of you have followed these simple rules in the Bible?

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized (Fully submerge in water) shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned (if you don't believe in baptism in Jesus name you’re condemn already).

John 3:18 He that believeth on him (Jesus) is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not "believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized (Fully submerge in water) every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other (there is no other way): for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must (have to) be saved.

So before you can come together you must become a Christian first according to the word of God, and you must understand that you opinion don't matter when it come to the word of God. Next you must learn to agree in the word of God, that Bible doesn't and will not cater to your opinion.
